Colile

Art has always been my form of emotional escape. When I pick up a pen, paper, when work with ink and paint, I get into a zone, a relaxed, and carefree, almost like an Eldorado within, a place where the cares of the world seem to fade away, and don’t matter so much anymore, even if just for a little while. It is almost like a pursuit of happiness…

Diary

This space was originally intended to be “My Blog”, but I myself don’t read many blogs, not even blogs from some of my most visited and useful websites. Frankly I find that we have substituted our inborn need for learning and acquiring a genuine education through research and accumulating information, with googling things and reading random blogs in an effort to quickly get things done and also filling our unconscious need to seem as though we actually know the facts, from the very people who also googled it.

Many blogs fill that niche, therefore we have loads of them, claiming to teach facts that we compulsive “googlers” never bat an eye in question. Since I don’t intend to teach any facts that I am neither formally educated, qualified nor experienced to teach, I’m here to share some random discoveries in my art journey and that of others who will be willing to share. Thus, making this just a virtual diary, and a news update forum.

See some of personal moments, sad, funny, bizarre, unique, stupid, friends, new acquaintances, travel, my life as an English speaker in France.  All the little things that make and break this artist’s day.
